Inclusive Recruitment Training

Astriid’s Inclusive Recruitment Training is delivered virtually by our acclaimed team of lived experience experts, all of whom have their own experiences of facing barriers when searching for inclusive job roles. This session covers:

  • Health-related and social barriers faced by people with long-term conditions when entering the workforce
  • Creating inclusive job adverts, key phrases to incorporate, and writing descriptions that welcome people with long-term conditions to apply
  • Guidance to ensure your platforms and processes are accessible and inclusive for potential new talent
  • Reasonable adjustments during job interviews and assessment centres
  • Responding appropriately to disclosures of long-term conditions, complying with anti-discrimination law and facilitating confident conversations
  • Positioning your organisation as an employer of choice for skilled people with long-term conditions

This session is interactive and engaging, featuring short videos and stories from real-life case studies and plenty of opportunities for discussion and reflection. You will also hear first-hand testimonies about the numerous benefits of hiring people with Energy Limiting Conditions, and cover the basics of inclusive language for this community.

After the session, you will receive a downloadable resource that will include topics that are covered.
