Technology giant Salesforce has been a key supporter of Astriid from the earliest days of the organisation. They first became involved in 2017 as the charity found its feet, and have continued to support and endorse us as we grow and evolve.
Champion Fundraisers
Staff members at Salesforce are among our most enthusiastic fundraisers year upon year, taking part in all manner of challenges to help us fund the services we provide. We are particularly grateful to Steve Corfield who supports us in the delivery of our annual golf day at the Royal Ascot Golf Club each summer. Having previously cycled and raised money for the charity himself, he now lends his name and channels his enthusiasm into recruiting teams from right across the technology sector to take part in this special day.
Alongside enjoyable rounds of golfing and activities throughout the day, we share more about our work as a charity and the immense difference that support and fundraising can make. The money raised each year from this one event funds our small charity for a number of months and we are delighted to say it will continue for a fourth year in July 2025. Salesforce are industry leaders in their sector and a global name, and they have generously shared their knowledge and insights with Astriid for a number of years. There have been numerous senior executives across the organisation who have gladly volunteered their time and skills to help steer our charity and facilitate our growth – something that is greatly appreciated by our entire team.
