Astriid is the only charity in the UK that helps talented people with long-term conditions find meaningful work. We offer a bespoke job-matching service for individuals, along with tailored support and advice to help them become ‘work-ready’. This includes CV development sessions, interview practice, access to flexible training schemes, and much more.
We also connect candidates with amazing employers, who come to us for help with diversifying their workforce and tackling any organisational skill gaps. As a user-led charity, we also offer research, consultancy, talks and training for businesses around inclusive employment and recruitment.
Since Covid-19, the demand for our services have never been higher.
Your generous donation means that we can continue to reach out and help those with long term conditions find meaningful employment and help businesses with their disability inclusion strategies.
£10 a month could help fund our online advocacy and information, and enable us to reach out to more people with long term conditions.
£15 a month could fund one hour of support per month to our candidates from our candidate support to help them find meaningful employment.
£32 a month could fund two hours per month of disability inclusion research, which can enable us to reach out to businesses to train them on inclusive employment.
By setting up a monthly donation, we will send you quarterly newsletters updating you on the work that we are doing, and share personal stories and testimonies from our candidates.

Astriid organise major events throughout the year to help raise our core funding. These include events such as our Charity Golfing day at the Royal Ascot and the popular London to Paris cycling event! We also schedule Corporate presentations at these events to raise awareness of business opportunities and needs. Astriid works with organisations that have a genuine desire to create a culture of inclusion and transform their workplace into the type of environment that is welcoming and supportive of their needs.
By partnering with us, Astriid can provide hands on training and support for your business across a broad range of Diversity & Inclusion areas. We have successfully managed to get over 125 of our candidates into a form of employment, with a further 35 on training programmes from the 1,750 candidates within our invisible talent pool. We would not be able to have done this without some generous donations from foundations and charitable trusts.

Major gifts can really create a big positive impact on the candidates that Astriid support. Your major gift can be invested into a specific part of the charity or spread over various services. As a major gift is a substantial amount, we like to give you the option of where this is invested. We will also keep in touch with you personally with updates on how you have made a difference to our candidates.
