If you were connected with Astriid in the earlier days, you may remember our ground-breaking Employment And Long-Term Illness Report. The findings of this report have had many practical applications in the world of work, and now we’re crafting a new and exciting piece of research… and we need your help!
Our 2023 Astriid Survey is open now, and we’re looking for participants with long-term conditions and/or disabilities to take part. The entire survey is online and takes around 10 minutes to complete. Through your responses, we’d like to hear about your experiences of work and job hunting, the obstacles you experience in accessing work, and what kind of support you would find most beneficial.
By gathering data of this kind, we’re working to ensure our service is providing the most valuable support possible for individuals. However, the data will also help us advocate on behalf of our service users to external stakeholders, and shape how inclusive working practice is implemented in the UK. Working with a long-term condition is an under-researched area with a real lack of meaningful data currently available, so we want to provide a strong collection of evidence for employers to see how beneficial flexible working adjustments can be.
Anybody with a long-term condition or disability can join in with this survey, and help to support our mission. It’s open for all Astriid candidates, but you do not have to be a registered candidate to take part!
Thank you so much in advance for your support and participation. Your responses and lived experiences will help us to gain valuable insight into and improve workplace prospects for disabled people, including those with long-term and energy-limiting conditions.
You can take part in the Astriid Survey now. Please do spread the word!
